Happy Holidays everyone! 

Pretty cute! Anybody want one? We always have a couple needing homes...and the sooner someone takes them the better their chances of living, dogs, coyotes, hawks...who knows what else...tends to make their lives precarious at our home! 

Following photos are of some of Sierra's summer days spent enjoying the perks of being a girl! 

Flashback in time to Ocean's 4th birthday party...just because I need to see this picture more often! The 4 girls went with their moms and grandma charlotte to have their hair done and they each had a fairytale princess dress to where. Sierra was Cinderella. 

 

We are having this weather today!! December 24, and getting +double digit weather! 

The 3 cousins had a lot of fun together being fairy tale princesses, acting out stories, dancing and... 

And keeping their hair dry as they played in the hot tub...great friends. 

As our Christmas cards will once again be late this year (but at least this year they are coming!) Here is our family picture to tide you over. Love you all and we wish everyone a truly Merry Christmas and A Very Happy New Year!! 

Some of our animals...and family too! When you all get our Christmas card late, you'll notice I forgot our truly newest addition...our cat, Brady Shorden (named by Sierra). He is a very friendly cat who takes care of our mice problem.

How is this for an action shot??!! Notice all feet are in midair...pretty good eh? They are currently in level 3 of "learning to fly the old fashioned way". I higly recommend it. 

For those of you who remember John as a single, wandering traveller with no real ties...here he is being an excellent father as he puts his son to bed. John is great because he wrestles, and scares (in fun) and rough houses with the kids...with me, its boring old routine. (or complete fun chaos!) 

Grandma Tina (John's mom) keeping a watchful eye on our handful of a son at the CCF christmas supper. Ethan was very good. Speaking of that, no pictures of Narnia on our blog, but I went with mom and her ss class, Laura Rutherford and Sierra AND Ethan. They were both very well behaved, Ethan slept for a bit but when he was awake, he made me very proud :).

Dad and John at our Church Christmas supper. It was a beautifully decorated supper (good tasting too!) and a great play before hand.

Our Christmas tree...a 15 foot high, but down to 9 1/2 feet pine tree that John cut down (along with another one which we gave away to his cousin Kara and her family!) dragged out of the forest and tied on to our truck. It isn't what we are used to, but John has done a good job of getting it set up (including screwing in about 18 extra branches !! :) Anyhow, I like it now. 

Here is Ethan actually decorating...not supposed to be on the ladder, but like his father he is a natural!
