Here are a few pictures of our back yard and the view we have from our west facing rooms (kitchen and fireplace living room). It's amazing and the pictures do not do it justice, as the mountains down this end of town are HUGE! But you'll really have to strain to see them. When we lived North of here, the mountains were visable from our deck but were much 'shorter'. As you can see our backyard has a pond...those of you who know me (and my small case of scatterbrainedness) may fear for my children...as do I! but so far no incidences.
It has rained here the past couple days...everything is very wet. But hopefully it will dry up for Pete and Kate's reception. It is very possibly being held here. Dad's B-day went so well it has become a popular destination for large parties :) So cool!

Sara, I like it. The bridge, the pond, the windmill, mountains, grassy fields... How deep is the pond? Dangerously deep? I guess any amount of water is potentially dangerous. I will think of you and your kids when ever I see a pond from now on.

it seems to be about 2 feet deep...depending on how much it rains. So yes all amounts can be dangerous but i felt better knowing it shouldn't be over their heads if they stand up. But we still have rule they can't even go over the bridge without an adult watching. It will be nicer when we get the grass cut and all the left over garbage and wood cleaned up.
Love you guys.

thanks for thinking of us :)

Are those recent pictures. I assume that they're not since there is no snow and when I was there a couple weeks ago there was a fair bit.
